Assembly Operative

Staffpower Group are currently working with an ever-growing company who manufacture aerial lifts based in Washington. We are looking for multiple production assembly operators with immediate starts.

This will be an ongoing position working day shift (07:00 – 15:30) starting at £10.49 per hour then increasing to £11.23 per hour after 12 weeks. Possible overtime is available paying up to £21 per hour.

Basic Outline:

• Attending start of shift briefings to receive targets for the day.
• Using a variety of different hand tools to assemble a variety of products.
• Working on a fast-paced production line.
• Visual quality inspection of own work upon completion.
• Keen eye for detail.
• General housekeeping duties and additional duties as and when required.

Essential Requirements:

• Must be flexible to work 3-shifts if required.
• Flexible to the needs of the business such as overtime.

Desirable (but not essential) Requirements:

• Experienced within a paint shop/paint line.
• Experience working on a production/assembly line.
• Have a valid UK Drivers’ Licence and access to a vehicle.
