Fabricators/Welders
We are currently recruiting for multiple Fabricators/Welders to work for our client based in Washington (NE37) area.
Salary & working hours:
- Monday to Thursday 7:45am – 4:30pm
- Friday 7:45am – 1pm
- Day shift
- From £13 per hour
- Overtime paid at 1.5x rate
Duties:
- Dealing with mild steel
- MIG Welding will be a major part of this role
- Working from engineering drawings and create own jigs
The candidate:
- Must have experience within MIG Welding
- TIG Welding would be an advantage
- Experience working with hollow section frameworks and material gauges between 1.5mm to 10mm
- At least 5 years fabricating experience (preferred)
Other important information:
- Interview will involve a weld test
- Workwear provided including welding equipment
- Full induction will be given
- Temp to perm contract (from 12 weeks)

Experience:
- MIG welding: 1 year (preferred)
- Fabrication: 5 years (preferred)
- TIG welding: 1 year (preferred)
