Forklift Driver

We are currently working with a company based in Gateshead who specialise in pressing metal for the automotive industry.

We are looking for multiple Warehouse Operators/FLT Drivers to join the Warehouse and Logistics Team ASAP.

Shift and Salary:

This is a full time position on a temporary contract. Permanent contracts may be given to the right candidate after 12 weeks

• 2 shift pattern rotation
• Days 6:30am – 4:30pm
• Backs 12:30pm – 10:30pm
• Monday – Thursday
• £11.25 per hour

Outline:

• Following standard operating procedures and good 6S
• Dealing with customer schedules, pick sheets, requests and concerns
• Dealing with delivery and shipping paperwork
• Loading and unloading various size vehicles and communicating with drivers
• Undertaking pick activities, goods in and shipping
• Working in a busy factory environment

Essential:

• Counterbalance FLT experience within the last 3 years
• Counterbalance FLT licence
• Must be able to work under pressure and as part of a team
• Must be flexible to work any additional overtime
• Manual handling experience
