Internal Waste Cleaner

Role Overview

We are currently recruiting for a temporary Internal Waste Cleaner based in Washington. This role is expected to last for up to 3 months.

Key Responsibilities

· Disposing of cardboard boxes and general waste materials

· Operating compactors to crush cardboard for recycling purposes

· Handling and managing waste bins, skips, and recycling areas

· Ensuring waste disposal areas are kept clean, tidy, and safe at all times

· Segregating recyclable materials correctly

· Moving bins and waste containers safely around site

· Reporting any faults, spillages, or health & safety concerns

· Supporting general housekeeping duties within the warehouse or site areas

· Following all site recycling and waste management procedures

Skills & Experience Required

Requirements:

· Previous cleaning or waste handling experience is preferred but not essential

· Reliable with a strong work ethic

· Able to work independently and as part of a team

· Flexible and willing to provide additional cover when required

· Good awareness of health & safety procedures

· Candidates must provide their own safety boots/shoes

Free parking and excellent transport system to place of work

Shift Pattern

4 on – 4 off shift pattern

8.00am – 7.00pm

Average working week 35 hours
