As the Elder Statesman in the group (oldest) I bring over 25 years of recruitment experience in various roles and sectors. After all these years I still get a real buzz out of helping people, whether that be Candidates, Clients or Colleagues and passionately believe the recruitment sector is unique in terms of the positive impact it can have on many peoples’ lives and careers.

Away from work I am a hardened Boro fan and like nothing better than a few light ones with my mates on a Saturday and watching the Mighty Boro home or away, having visited 80 different grounds across England and Europe following my team.

Recruited across many disciplines from Engineering to large on-site accounts.

Over the last 10 years I’ve been recruiting drivers ranging from Van to HGV class 1

Out of work I visit golf courses around the country where I wait for 4 hours while my son competes in junior golf competitions.

I have worked in recruitment for 24 years. I lived abroad and my mam told me to get a job and that’s where it started! I completed my degree in Social Care in 2013 and I have specialised in this sector, mainly providing Bespoke Packages for young people. I am very passionate about what I do.

In my spare time I love watching American Crime series, jogging, spending time with my family and of course: holidays!

Hi, I’m Ryan and I’ve been in recruitment since 2021 within the health care sector, supplying support workers to look after troubled and damaged kids to give them a better chance at life!  In my spare time I love going different places and going out with my mates.

I started working within the recruitment and training industry since my apprenticeship when I was 17 years old!  I have been with the StaffPower family since 2021 and I absolutely love my job and the team I work with!

Outside of work, I like to eat out (table 81… if you know, you know!).  I also enjoy travelling and visit the USA every summer.  My favourite place is Orlando, Florida!

20 years ago, I had the opportunity to work in recruitment as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant, something I had never thought about doing! It did not take long and I had the recruitment bug, it is like a rollercoaster and no 2 days have been the same ever since.

I have worked for over 10 years at a national agency specialising in both sales and account management. I have run my own business which specialised in Permanent Recruitment and I am now delighted to be part of the fantastic team at StaffPower Group.

Away from work I enjoy cooking, travelling, and spending time with my beautiful family.

I have over 14 years of experience working within training and education for various training providers and colleges. Prior to this, I held senior managerial roles in logistics for some of the world’s most recognisable brands, developing a deep understanding of global business operations and supply chain management. In my spare time I enjoy physical fitness such as hitting the gym and training in Mixed Martial Arts (MMA). I also enjoy coaching my son’s football club, using my experiences from training and education to help develop young minds and bodies. Throughout my career, I have been driven by a desire to help others grow and succeed, and I love being able to provide opportunities for all our candidates through training and education.

Malcolm Johnston

I served my apprenticeship and worked in the shipbuilding industry for 10 years after leaving school. I then went to work in the Oil and Gas sector, working offshore on many different Platforms in the North and Irish Sea. After 13 years I became a lecturer at South Tyneside College training apprentices and adults in Engineering. I was promoted to head of Department of Engineering and then to Head of Faculty for Engineering and Technology. I left STC to go and work in the Middle East, training Saudi Arabian Chevron apprentices in Kuwait, and then onto Saudi Petroleum Services Polytechnic in Saudi Arabia, before returning to the UK due to the Covid pandemic, joining StaffPower Training in March 2021.

I enjoy using my experience to provide people with the skills and knowledge they require to help them progress and succeed in their chosen vocation.

Jonathan Moralee

Lead Compliance Officer

I have worked in Training for 12 years as Compliance Officer within a College and have worked for StaffPower as the Lead Compliance Officer since 2022. I have an eye for detail and experience preparing paperwork for audits. The job is very diverse and we have a cracking team which makes every day enjoyable.

I’m an avid football fan and Newcastle is my team and I enjoy chilling watching the game with a pint. I also enjoy keeping active and going to the gym.

I started working with StaffPower Training in the spring of 2022, after working in Health and Social Care for a decade.  I now work as a member of the Quality and Compliance team.

In my spare time I enjoy travelling, reading and esoteric topics.

Emma Branney

Compliance Officer

I’ve had quite a diverse career, from Legal to spending 14 years in the energy sector with varying roles, mainly within Quality and Compliance. I started working at StaffPower Training 6 months ago so training is still quite a new world for me and although it can be a bit of a rollercoaster at times it’s one I am really enjoying being on.

In my spare time I love going for walks, travelling and of course I don’t mind a little Prosecco.

I am relatively new to work but have experience in compliance and quality within StaffPower Training and I have enjoyed every minute so far.

Outside of work I am Sunderland season ticket holder, keen gamer, and a film lover.

Oliver Kelly

I joined Staffpower in the Autumn of 2022 working as a Compliance Support Officer assisting in all parts of the training division. Since then, I have taken more responsibility and roles and am loving every part of the job.

Outside the office, I love spending time with my girlfriend, watching all genres of film (with a pint of cider) and watching Formula 1 every Sunday.
