Food Production Operative

Company Overview:

We are currently recruiting for a Production Operative to join a well-established food manufacturing operation based in the Durham area.

This is a physically demanding, hands-on role working within a fast-paced production environment. You will be working across multiple areas of the production process, supporting the manufacturing of food products from raw ingredient stage through to finished goods.

Key Responsibilities:

· Weighing and preparing ingredients

· Mixing batches using industrial whisks and paddles

· Monitoring product consistency and quality

· Manual handling of materials (regular lifting up to 25kg)

· Transferring product between production areas

· Assisting with small amounts of packing and labelling

· Ensuring strict hygiene and food safety standards are maintained at all times

· Cleaning down equipment and workstations in line with food production regulations

Qualifications / Certifications:

Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate

Monday to Friday 06:30 to 15:00
