Production Operative

Staffpower Group are seeking a dedicated Production Operative to join our clients manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the production process within a food manufacturing environment, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and maintaining high-quality output. Duties

· Operate various production machinery in accordance with company procedures and safety guidelines.

· Assist in the preparation and processing of food products, adhering to HACCP and food safety standards.

· Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning; perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance as required.

· Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the work area, following hygiene protocols at all times.

· Measure ingredients or components accurately using basic maths skills to meet product specifications.

· Support the movement of raw materials and finished goods throughout the production line safely and efficiently.

· Record production data accurately, maintaining detailed logs for quality control purposes.

· Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Experience

· Previous experience in food production or manufacturing environments is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.

· Knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be available for successful candidates.

· Mechanical knowledge or experience with machinery operation is beneficial.

· Basic maths skills are required for measuring ingredients and recording data accurately.

· Familiarity with food safety procedures and good manufacturing practices will support success in this role.

Shifts are 7am until 4.30pm
