Wave 6 Skills Bootcamp — R08 Completion: A Milestone of Impact and Progres
The closure of R08 marks the successful conclusion of our Wave 6 Skills Bootcamps—an important milestone that not only signifies the end of delivery but also provides an opportunity to reflect on the strength and impact of the programme to date.
As we process both Milestone 1 and Milestone 2 outcomes, the data tells a compelling story of achievement, progression, and meaningful results for learners across the country.
Over the course of this wave, we supported 1,026 learners, delivering 100% of Milestone 1 commitments in line with contract requirements. Most notably, 98.7% of learners progressed to interview stage, demonstrating the effectiveness of our training in preparing individuals for real employment opportunities.
The programme has already led to 62% of learners securing employment, with the remaining participants continuing to receive structured support through a dedicated six-month progression pool. This ongoing commitment ensures that every learner is given the best possible chance to transition successfully into work.
Our delivery spanned key sectors including Manufacturing, Construction, Logistics, and Green Skills, across six regions: North East, South Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, Greater London, Leicester, and Tees Valley.
None of this would have been possible without the dedication, expertise, and collaboration of our office and delivery teams. Their commitment has been central to achieving these outcomes and maintaining the high standards we set for Skills Bootcamp delivery.
With this milestone reached, we now look ahead with momentum and confidence to the next phase.
