Warehouse Operative

Staffpower Group are currently looking to recruit a warehouse operative to join a small, friendly team. They are a family owned, industrial supply business and are looking for someone who will thrive in a busy environment.

This is a varied role and involves working with a team to ensure all tasks are completed accurately and on time. The role is predominantly picking and packing orders but includes a variety of additional warehouse duties. This includes:

· Operating and understanding a variety of computer systems

· Accepting deliveries and processing of goods inwards

· Monitoring standards of goods supplied

· Dealing with customers at our collection point/ counter

· Stock checking

· Other duties to support the effective and efficient running of the warehouse

This role requires someone with a high level of attention to detail. Some key skills and attributes we are looking for include:

· Have adequate number skills to do simple calculations

· Have a willing and cooperative attitude

· Able to listen and learn

· Trustworthy

· Communication

Previous experience in a similar role isn’t vital but a willingness to learn is essential. On-the-job training is provided.

Hours: 08.30 -17.15, Monday to Friday (30 mins lunch)
